With its mantra, “Alaminos City Division: Hundred Reasons to Serve with a Smile, the Personnel of the Schools Division Office of City of Alaminos, led by Dr. Danilo C. Sison, CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent, have successfully completed the training for the Stage 2 of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Certification at the Schools Division Office Conference Room, last October 26-31, 2018.
The ISO Certification Stage 2, which is all about the Documentation System, has greatly equipped the Overall Document Controller and all the Documents Controllers for the Divisions and Units in Alaminos City Division. All Personnel were intensively trained on how to prepare quality manual, procedure manual, work instruction manual, list of quality documents and list of quality records. Furthermore, they were also taught on how to document information which are substantial for the efficient and effective service delivery of the Division’s services to the public.
Mrs. Mae Ann O. Evangelista and Miss Dianica Esturas, the very capable Junior Auditors of the Juan C. Aquino Team served as the Resource Speakers, who patiently guide the Personnel in preparing their Procedure Manual and Work Instruction Manual. They, too, explained very well to the Personnel the significance of the Division’s Quality Management System and the importance of communication to increase the workers engagement and understanding in an organization and to be able to fully respond to the customers’ needs.
Moreover, the four-day training on ISO Certification Stage 2 also honed the Personnel in gathering and keeping the needed necessary information and requirements for documentation which mandate their processes such as log books, vouchers, records, forms and training proposals, legal references, DepEd Memoranda and Orders. Too, their authority, responsibility and accountability were reiterated to the Personnel as they perform their duties and responsibilities to render quality service to their clients.
