True to its initiatives and commitment to support learning, through empowering the school leaders and helping them plan, design and implement interventions that address challenges and bottlenecks encountered by teachers and learners in schools and inside the classroom, the Schools Division Office of Alaminos City conducted the monitoring and validation of Project Initiative Plan (PIP) and Re-Entry Action Plan (REAP) documents and implementation on April 07 and 08, 2025.
Dr. Diana Marie A. Gaspar-Oiguan and Mr. Leomar C. Abarra, Senior Education Program Specialists in Human Resource Development with Planning and Research and School Management Monitoring and Evaluation with Social Mobilization and Networking, respectively, conducted the two-day monitoring and validation of PIP and REAP documents and implementation in various elementary schools in the Division. They also provided timely and relevant technical assistance which will help the school heads in the post implementation activities of their projects and in the preparation of pertinent paper, documents and means of verifications which will serve as the evidence of the implemented PIPs and REAPs.
Meanwhile, Dr. Ely S. Ubaldo, CESO VI, Schools Division Superintendent; Dr. Wilfredo E. Sindayen, CESO VI, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent; Dr. Arturo R. Viray, Chief Education Supervisor of the Schools Governance and Operations Division, and Dr. Orlando I Guerrero, Chief Education Supervisor of the Curriculum Implementation Division, extended their full support to the said activity and instructed Dr. Oiguan and Mr. Abarra to encourage other school heads to prepare their PIP and REAP and to conceptualize, design and conduct intervention projects, too, that will help uplift the learning outcomes of school children in SDO Alaminos City. Alaminos City National High School Achieved Remarkable Success in the CSE Numerical Ability National Competition 2025
Alaminos City National High School made an outstanding performance in the Civil Service Examination (CSE) Numerical Ability National Competition 2025.
Students from the school showcased their exceptional knowledge and skills, earning a total of 56 gold, 23 silver, and 6 bronze medals. Their remarkable achievements were celebrated through a courtesy call and a re-awarding ceremony during the flag raising ceremony, attended by Dr. Ely S. Ubaldo, CESO VI, Schools Division Superintendent; Dr. Wilfredo E. Sindayen, CESO VI, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent; Dr. Orlando I. Guerrero, Chief of the Curriculum Implementation Division; Dr. Arturo R. Viray, Chief Education Supervisor – SGOD; Dr. Adolfo B. Medrano, Education Program Supervisor in Mathematics; and Ms. Rosalie R. Sarmiento, Administrative Officer V, along with other SDO personnel.
In addition to the students’ success, their coaches, Ma. Teresa B. Garcia, Marcelo M. Garcia, Mary Joy C. Mendez, Micaela Jomil D. Tizon, Dr. Cristy Grace W. Bautista, and Mary Grace O. Riño were also recognized for their competent leadership, receiving the Top 4, 5, 7, 9, 17, and 19 Best Coach Awards across various categories, respectively. The school ranked 4th in the Top 10 Best Performing Schools, further cementing their reputation as one of the nation's top achievers in the competition.
The CSE Numerical Ability National Competition gathers the brightest young minds from across the country, challenging them with complex problems and promoting development of mathematical skills. This event serves as a platform for students to showcase their problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
The success of Alaminos City National High School emphasizes the school’s strong commitment to academic excellence, supported by Dr. Adolfo B. Medrano, Education Program Supervisor - Mathematics; Rey B. Pascua, OIC - School Principal IV, Alicia O. Damasco, Head Teacher III – Mathematics and teacher-coaches.
The Schools Division Officials praised the students’ remarkable achievements, highlighting their significant role in elevating Alaminos City’s standing in mathematics. They expressed deep pride in the students’ success and extended their heartfelt wishes for continued excellence in future competitions.
